We've never been one for dogmatic rules, so with a little defiance of the UCI's rule book, the Shiv, again, sets the new standard for speed. It keeps its aero, fuel, and fit focus, but does so in a whole new light. Yes, it has disc brakes. Yes, its easy to travel with. And yes, it takes aero to unheard of heights, virtually disappearing in a crosswind. Theres only one bike thats going to help get you to the top of the podium this season, and thats the S-Works Shiv Disc.
Superlatively aerodynamic. Win Tunnel Engineered. Crosswind-optimized. Not even close to UCI-legal. It might sound like good marketing, but each of these are the core design tenets that went into the all-new Shiv. Its not only the most aerodynamic bike weve ever made, but it's by far the most aerodynamic bike weve ever tested. In fact, it's so fast that it disappears in a crosswind, attaining the coveted "zero drag" CDA at certain yaw angles. And while aerodynamics was our number one design priority, we still put a large focus on weight, stiffness, and ride quality to ensure that its the best riding and handling triathlon bike you've thrown a leg over.
What was that about storage Just like with the original Shiv, the Shiv Disc features both Fuelselage hydration and Fuelcell nutrition storage, but we didnt simply reuse them. Instead, we designed them from the ground up. We moved the Fuelselage II from inside the frame to the rear of the bike. Now, it's entyrely hidden within the frame (even the hydration hose), which not only allows for more fluid capacity, but it also helps with aerodynamics. The Fuelcell II utilizes the additional volume created by the "New Shape of Speed" for the down tube, and this creates plenty of room for a drop-in bento box. The Fuelcell II can also hold 10 to 12 gels, 5 bars, or 5 chews, and it can be removed to easily access the Shimano Di2 A-Junction Box or a flat repair kit.
We also made sure that the Shiv is plenty adjustable for you do dial-in your fit. The frame comes in four different sizes that are based on over 1,000 Retl fits with actual athletes, all to ensure that your ideal fit is achievable. Adjustability was also high on the list for the aerobars, extensions, and arm pads, so the Control Tower II is adjustable on nearly every access. Need more or less basebar stack Simply loosen a single bolt on each side and tilt it up or down. The aerobars, themselves, also offer plenty of adjustabilityfore, aft, and pad width. An added bonus of this adjustability is the ease of travel. All you have to do is fold the basebar down to the fork, unbolt the Control Tower, and your Shiv is ready for the bike box. We couldn't make it any easier.
To ensure that it's race-ready right out of the box, weve specd the S-Works Shiv Disc with only the top components. Shimanos Dura-Ace Di2 with hydraulic disc brakes is in charge of both shifting and braking duties. Our S-Works Power Cranks, meanwhile, provide you with all the data youd ever need. And it's not only the lightest power metre out there, but it also has the best real-world accuracy at +/-1.5%. For the rolling stock, the Roval CLX 64 Disc wheels are not only extremely aerodynamic, but they're far lighter than other wheels in their class.

The incredibly aerodynamic, crosswind-optimized, and non-UCI-legal FACT carbon frame features all the details you’ve asked for. It’s packable, adjustable, has our Hydration and Nutrition Fuelcell systems, and it makes it easy to find your perfect fit. The new "Shape of Speed" philosophy optimizes each tube shape around aerodynamics, weight, and stiffness, and this creates the opportunity for functional integration without compromising speed.
We've combined our incredibly light and stiff, carbon fiber S-Works road cranks with dual-sided power measurement, making it the lightest (440g/172.5mm) and most accurate (+/- 1.5%) power meter available.
The cockpit not only takes aerodynamics seriously, but it also allows for a multitude of adjustments. As an added bonus, it easily unbolts from the frame, and the basebar folds down parallel to the fork. This makes packing headaches a thing of the past.
