Freeride / Downhill

Free ride/Downhill (FR/DH) bikes generally have at least 150mm of travel. Due to their typically large or high gears, long, plush travel and slack geometry angles, these bikes are ideally suited for riding dedicated downhill trails, race courses, and trail centres. Due to the high speed and technical nature of free ride and downhill riding, most bikes only have one or two chain rings at the front plus a bash guard and a chain device.
